Megalodon - 'Meg 2: The Trench'

 Overview:

The Megalodon is one of the largest and most powerful predators to have ever existed on Earth. It is estimated to have lived from approximately 23 million years ago to about 2.6 million years ago, during the Miocene to the Pliocene epochs.

Size:

Megalodon was a colossal creature, and its exact size is a subject of some debate due to limited fossil evidence. However, based on teeth and vertebrae findings, scientists estimate that adult megalodons reached lengths of around 50 to 60 feet (15 to 18 meters). Some larger estimates have been suggested, but they are not widely accepted by the scientific community.

Presence and Location:

As mentioned earlier, megalodons were believed to have lived between 23 million and 2.6 million years ago. They roamed the world's oceans during this time, and their fossils have been found in various locations, including North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and South America.
